I've yet to wheel my Taco here, usually I take my Side by Side so this should be fun even though i'll be driving considerably slower.

Thanks! We were debating on using Hidden Fall's photos to show exactly what we were writing about, but we didn't want to run the risk of them not allowing access to their photos. Going forward, when we attend new parks (we have General Sams, BMRA and SWR reviews in the works) to take better pics of the facitilities and such as well.

I voted marble falls, never been sounds awesome! If the trails are a little more mildly tamed than Bridgeport that's a ++ for me also.

I'm down for some wheeling anywhere in the Central TX area! That'd be a blast.

I'd just take them off personally. Save myself some work but also almost cost me my head. The wife was not happy when I came back from Bridgeport. Haha

Take them off sell them and then use that money and invest in some rock sliders:thumbsup:

Sure, just make sure you bring enough recovery gear for them.

One of them talks alot of shit about my Taco so if he gets stuck im taking the Top Gear approach and leaving a man behind. Lol.

Grab some popcorn and a chair let me tell you about the story of the lil taco who (thought he) could.

I met a guy through FB who had unlimited confidence in his 1st gen TRD OR 2WD (so a rear locker) on 33s. He said "it's all driver" and "I have a winch" and the "I try stuff my 4WD buddies won't even touch". His group went out to Hidden Falls. I've heard about a great trip... From everyone but him.

A 2WD should have a day of fun. Park roads, easy trails like Falls (maybe), Hog Alley. But you're not going to iconic parts of the park like Tower and the top of Jodys without riding along. I wouldn't take a 2WD out there, but I also do stuff constantly I shouldn't be doing, like all of TRO with 31" talls. I'm sure some people can get a 2WD up stuff it shouldn't. But you have to keep in mind if you're constantly getting stuck, needing a pull, having to try easy obstacles repeatedly, you're just slowing your group down. A 2WD will NOT get through creek trails, which are the best part of the park IMO. If it's sloppy wet or super dry, a 2WD won't make it very far down any real trails either. Sorry if I sound like a dick, but it's better to be honest straight up. If it's rained a bit but dried out which packs the silt a 2WD is... Still meh.

I'll happily write out a day long trail guide for someone if they want to give me their confidence and a brief mod list (tire height, armor, ect).

Remember folks. This ISNT your local mud pit where it's gas and go. It takes patience and often a spotter. But it's an absolute blast and I'd keep going out there every weekend if I wasn't in Lubbock.

Hidden Falls is most definitely not milder than Bridgeport, just way bigger so more access roads to bomb around with 2 spinny wheels.

I second this, lost of people like @Lars and myself will already be there the following weekend and won't want to make 2 trips. Think about sliding it a week and get food, raffles and lots of friends.
