Here is my RC. This was right after I bought it and took the mud flaps off. Haven't done much but a stereo. Looking to do the UWS tool box and leveling kit. I'm waiting for leaf spring recall before doing leveling kit though.

    Great video!

I like the synopsis of all the improvements, and the off-road treks that demonstrate them.

Did you re-gear? How is power/mileage affected with those wheels/tires/lift?

I'm a Reg Cab guy myself, looking to do a 3in. lift. Did you have to install a new UCA when you lifted with the toyotech boss? I know that people say right at 3inches is the limit before you really look at new UCA. They are so expensive though so if I'm going to lift my taco I'd like to at least not have to worry about immediately purchasing a new UCA if I don't have to. Is your alignment giving you issues at all?

Just need bigger tires now. Thinking 285/75/16s, want to test fit and see how much trimming I'll need :fingerscrossed:

3" RC lift. TRD Wheels, running 285/75/16 Nittos. Tinted headlights (with halos) and tail lights. Custom painted interior panels and color matched bumpers & flares. Dual hood mounted cubes with bumper light bar. Also debagged.
Velociraptor4x4. I'm running 285/75/16 Nitto Trail Grapplers and I get a good flat rub now at full lock thanks to minor trimming. Before I was getting a pull rub from the vents on the passenger side. A buddy and I took a drimmel and cut away at the plastic just enough to leave the brackets (technically where the snaps go) intact. We also had to cut at a 45* angle on the flares at the back of the wheel well because the tire would clip it just enough to begin to crack the plastic. Overall they fit well with minor trimming.
