As someone who bought into the Canon EOS-M system, I'm SOOOOO stoked that the M5 they're releasing is finally going to be competitive with the others on the market. It's not full frame but I don't care, I can't afford full frame prices anyways nor want the weight associated with the glass.

Hopefully this paves the way to a much needed EF-M lens roadmap.
    • Sensor: 24.2 million pixel APS-C CMOS
    • AF: dual pixel CMOS AF
    • **Touch AF
    • More AF points than any other camera (We don’t know the exact number)
    • DIGIC 7
    • Continuous shooting: 7fps
    • Continuous shooting in live view: 9fps
    • ISO Sensitivity: 100-25600
    • Video: FullHD 60fps, 5-axis electronic image stabilization
    • Dynamic NFC, Bluetooth built-in
    • Media: SD / SDHC / SDXC card
    • Size: 115.6 x 89.2 x 60.6 mm
    • Weight: 427g

Canon/Nikon are so far behind the mirrorless train. The best bargain in DSLRs is the Canon 6D.

I'm interested in Photokina, with Fuji releasing their Medium Format Mirrorless camera. Should be exciting, and a much cheaper route than the Hasselblad X1D.

That M5 should be a great camera! Canon has these new sensors figured out!

I would definitely like to add a decent zoom lens to my collection. My 50mm gets used like its going out of style, but something a bit more flexibility would be nice in some situations.

New to photography. Looking at possibly buying a Sony a6000 or something similar. Watching a few on fleabay. What's an acceptable shutter count for a used camera?

Mirrorless is an entirely different ballgame than your traditional SLR or DSLR as mostly shutter count is concerned about mirror usage. With a mirrorless camera, typically there are no moving parts involved in actually capturing the photo.

If studio photography is also a issue, know the mirrorless struggle a bit in dealing with strobe lighting TTL and a greater limited range for sync speeds compared to traditional D/SLR's
