Wanted to see what the general consensus is out there to ensure that when I drain my pockets on this suspension lift it will be sure to justify and offset any angry wife :)

I live in CO and primarily off road on mountainous trails and old mining roads alike, and the last taco I had I purchased lifted so I am entering new possibilities here. I'm planning on plating transfer case/tranny/oil pan as well as some rock sliders before anything. I have already been out and about and will be hitting more trails before I get her lifted so I hate to waste a perfectly new suspension, stock or not. I do however need to add a little clearance to what is at the same time my daily driver.

After a brief amount of research on the forum it seems that most are using OME kits... I am looking at a 3'' lift under the grayed beauty and my understanding is that lifting 3'' or more for clearance for 32'' tires requires upgraded UCA's as well as coils and shocks? Someone please chime in if this is incorrect. Currently looking at 2887 coils/strut assembly/LR UCA's/w 3 leaf AAL which is the Bilstein kit for $1,192 plus labor.

Wanting the best option for the price. If a kit is going to end up costing me $1500 in parts a labor, I feel I might as well just go all out with a nice chaos or icon kit. Can someone hook a brotha up with some knowledgeable preferences for complete kits and or reviews in the realm of what I'm looking for?

That kit is the bottom of the barrel when it comes to drop bracket type lifts. With these type of lifts, a section of the front crossmember is cut out for clearance. You may have good luck, but if it were me, I'd trust my suspension to bds or rcd. Especially if I was doing anything with it besides mall crawling..

Think I'm just going to take her in somewhere and talk to someone about a complete lift. Anyone know a good place in the Denver area that does lifts?
