How much of discount are you expect to get for '16 Tundra?

Looking to get either the Platinum or 1794 offroad. And which would you prefer?

Im seriously considering a tundra if I can get the price to come close to a new tacoma.

I think a platinum or 1794 is gonna be pretty steep. I don't know if you can compare the 2.

I love my 2nd gen Tundra, but can't be without a Tacoma.

    You will love driving one.

A fully loaded Tundra, Platinum or 1794, is at 50k MSRP and a fully loaded tacoma is at 40k MSRP.

Given that the Tundra has been out for a while, I'm sure you can find good discounts on them and I've seen it before. Where as new Tacoma won't have any discounts at least here in southern California.

I'm sure I won't get the Tundra for 40k. But for 43-45k, You seriously wonder if the Tacoma is a good deal.

My dad paid like 44k for his limited 4X4 Crew Max Tundra. If I were you I would get a 1794 with the TRD Off road package

I'm also looking for the 1794 offroad and limited offroad. they are pretty much the same thing without the brown leather but limited is about 3k cheaper. And they are impossible to find.

For most people thinking Tacoma or Tundra price is not the driving factor. What the plans are for the truck is.Size comfort towing etc...IMO go Tundra.Going off road in town driving better MPG and light truck duties my vote is the Tacoma....two different trucks for sure

When I was shopping for my father I was getting quoted $45,900 for a brand new 2016 1794 Crew Max 4x4 with predator running boards and line-x'd bed liner. Dealer was in San Antonio, TX. Hope that helps!

I paid just over 51k for my 1794 out the door. 4x4 TRD with running boards and line-x. This was in Ontario, CA though, so YMMV
