image.jpg image.jpg Has any look at the exghaust ?

Drivers side is flattened for ground clearance and comes into a smaller neck before it connects to the next pipe

hepcat, go look at your headers, you're in for a surprise!

Toyota knows what they are doing and those will not act as restrictions.

Did you notice the g in your exhaust? Cause that is way more intgeresting.

No big deal other than a little less ground clearance

You do realize this won't fix a thing right?? the catback bolts on after the cat. Thus called at "cat-back" the squash in the exhaust is located before the cat. The only thing that will fix it (If you call it a fix because IMO theres nothing wrong with it) is aftermarket headers or custom headers.

And despite the flattening, the crossover pipe is still the lowest point, prone to catching on stuff off-road. Go to an exhaust shop and get the pipe rerouted aft of the transfer case. Popular mod with 2nd gens. Costs about $300 depending on local shop rates:

I agree there really isn't a performance problem with that pipe, but the cats are well in front of it; the only things behind it is the y-pipe and muffler. It's probably more accurate to call it a "Y-pipe Back" as it doesn't actually mount to the cat(s)
