Cool. There isn't too much of s difference between 265/70/17 vs 275/70/17. I just wasn't sure with the back spacing and stuff the Stealth 6 wheels would give me.

Hi guys quick question I have a 3" spacer lift on the front of my 05 trd or pre runner and I just bought some 5100's and I'm looking at the emu springs how can I get 3" of lift so I don't have to use the spacer lift? Will the 885's give me the 3" with shocks set at 0 or do I have to add the top plate? Thanks for any help

So 885 or 887 lol? Won't the 887 make the ride stiff? I don't off road with the truck so I want the 3" lift but a nice a ride if possible

Im assuming your a double cab. If so then get the 887 for 3 inches of lift.

Double Cab, 887 gives the lift off 886 without the stiff ride supposedly. You won't get 3" with just 885. I don't have experience with bilsteins, so this info would be with nitro charger struts

but he's prerunner it looks like. Gonna be pretty damn close to 3" with 885. Either way is a nice lift. My 885s go on next week! Went with the bilsteins

Exactly, I am right at 3" on my prerunner with 885s. The 887 are the same spring rate as the 885s just 1/2" more lift.

question. To install new UCAs do I have to remove the coilovers as well? My UCAs are backordered thinking about installing the shocks first since I have them and running the stock UCAs for a bit

Nope! I installed my UCAs about 2 weeks after my lift. Took me about 30mins each side.

    Quick run through:

    1. tie the spending up, and separate the spindle from the UCA.
    2. Bend the fender so you can get the UCA bolt out.
3.Loses and remove the UCA bolt
4.Reinstall the UCA bold from the same direction you took it out with the new UCA.
5.Attach the spindle to the new UCA
    6.Torque it all down.
    7.Drink a beer
    8.Get an alignment.

Why does pre runner matter? Do you get that much lift without the weight of the 4wd components?

Why didn't you put the bolts in the opposite way they came out so you don't have to fight the fender again

    Correct.

That way if anything just happens to come lost the bolt won't fall right out. It's way less likely to work its way back up at the angle its at. With just a small quick bend of the fender there is no problems with it.

A little of this and a little of that.
Installed an OME lift kit on my 2011 DCSB 4WD. Full Dakars and 885 springs. LR UCA's too.

Well, found out what the noise is. The whole shock absorber is moving in the top hat. and binding the spring. I think the top hat is fubard. Can't see it just simply being loose as the other side has just as many threads showing. Any ideas?

Attached a video. Hoping it's simply just the top hat and not the whole shock.
