2005 Toyota Tacoma X-runner, 325hp 4.0L V6, 6speed manual trans, 2 renton coils in front, 3 drop block in rear with calvert traction bars, OEM springs, TRD intake, URD MAF calibration software, Doug Thorley long tube headers with banks muffler, TRD big brake kit
I was curious if anyone knows if it's safe to put on an open filter intake instead of the TRD intake since my truck has been computer programmed for more hp?

By program I take it the Truck has been tuned? If so I'd keep the existing intake until you can go and the truck tuned with the different intake. Probably safe but you may notice a difference in performance.
