Any tips on best place to get oil change? Closet dealers are somewhat far away from me IMO.

    TIA

Never the dealer, I paid ~$40 for Mobil 1 synthetic and filter to do in my own garage in about 20 mins. If you don't have the equipment/skills try to find a local shop to take care of you. The dealer puts the newest nosepicker on oil change duty because it's stupid easy and yet you still hear stories of uninstalled oil plugs or underfilled engines.

Yes, I used to do it myself. My HOA does not allow for driveway mechanic. I am new to area and don't know of any local shops. Thank you for your response.

Try asking in the Texas BS thread, that's where most of the Dallas types hang out, though some bleed over into the Fort Worth thread

The oil change on the 4.0 is super easy and all you need is a 14mm wrench for the drain plug and a 2 1/2 foot section of hose to drain oil from the filter. The filter is right up top and can be twisted off by hand.

When you say your HOA wont let you work in your drive way, just pull it into the garage and do it. Its so easy and quick I would not classify the task as driveway mechanic work.

If doing it yourself is really not an option then pull up google maps and search for shops around you and find one with good reviews.

I'd go for it in the driveway, and force someone to complain. Is popping your hood illegal?
