    It is straining my patience to not install the turbo kit. :frusty: I am holding off because I want to make changes and really polish off the kit. Which means a new ecu and a welder.... to really do build it the way that I want it. To be free from others' scehdules and expenses.

    I got to carve up some remote curvy roads this past weekend. Whoo what a blast! Passenger needed tissue once we were done. Pure and utter surprise to him, how well it handled. Zoom zoom.

    Striving for pure function, there is a line which should never be crossed. Lol. But still serious.

    I do not. I only have one set of wheels. So I get a good street tire. Added to that there aren't many selections of R compounds available, for the 20's. A few, but not many. I have used NITTO INVO's, NITTO NT05's, and now back to the Vredestein Ultrac Vorti ( which is also in an "R").

    The NT05's were heat cycled to quickly between track days and DD. INVO's are a reasonable tire. Lucario Runner and I are both in agreement that the Vorti's stick! Those are my favorite so far. Hands down. Track and street. Rain or shine.

    I'm am impressed with the vredestein performance on the track. Reminds me of my gtr on advans when they were new, however they only lasted a year. However as I have 3 sets of wheels for my 4runner I'm hoping the life will be extended compared to the advans.

    Ever tried Michelin pilot super sports? I have a set on my daily. Been pretty happy with them. Never tried a vorti before. Are they too aggressive to use as an all around tire?

    I have not. These Vorti are great in the rain and on the track. They are an excellent all around tire, within the brands that I have tried.
