Yea, you are right there as well. This year will definitely be a questionable year for y'all considering the unknowns as you mentioned. Speaking of, have you heard anything about Chubb and what his status may be? Last I read, he is still not cleared for contact and has been limited in agility drills. This was a few weeks ago though.

Except UGA is good for 8-11 year in and year out. UT hasn't done a damn thing since fulmer left. Just my 2c

From what I've seen online, he saw contact this week, including being tackled. Not sure what the overall outlook of him being 100% by time the season opens up against North Carolina. Also those reports are from the fan pages off of FB so, yo know, grain of salt with some of those.

They say Holifield coming in as a freshman running back (Evander Holifield's son) is a beast and is expected to see a good bit of action as the 3rd back in rotation.

I am just curious about the QB situation. I don't want to see Eason get thrown to the wolves. But I think if him and Lambert are neck and neck, then Start Eason so he can get his growing pains out of the way since he is suppose to be the future of UGA football. I honestly don't think Lambert brings a lot to the table being a 5th year senior or what ever. There is a reason why he lost his starting job at Virginia at the end of two seasons ago, and the dawgs were so one dimensional last year.

Hell I'm just ready for the Smart era to get underway!

Yea I have heard that Holyfield's boy is the real deal! I just continue to hear more and more about Bama starting a frosh at QB but of course itll never come out until opening day. It really wont bother me if we do strictly because I don't wanna be in this same situation for a 4th straight year. I will admit though, I am truly excited about Jeremy Pruitt being our D coordinator(he is also a local boy from near where I grew up), but I do think we lost a stud in Smart. I hope he does great thing at UGA. On the flip side of that though, I hope Richt does great things at Miami just out of spite of UGA letting go of a coach that averaged 9-10 wins a year! Yes, he did lose games he shouldn't, but there are a ton of teams out there that would love to average 9-10 wins a year!

Anybody know the significance of Holyfield's injury? @CountryDan ...I just printed off all my helmet schedules for my office(all in 11x18 tabloid size:bananadance:) and I say it every year, but I don't think I have ever been this excited for football season!

All I read/heard is that he tweaked his ankle, pretty good. That info came right after Saturday's scrimmage. People laugh at me when I say Herschel Walker is a witch doctor. That guy hasn't aged, and every great rb talent gets hurt at UGA. Perfect example Chubb ties his record for consecutive 100 yard games then next week season ending injury. Just saying. Voodoo is strong with Walker, lol

Man no love for Florida at all this year. But I'll take it we weren't even in the picture last year and won the East

@BAMATOY I just read that coach Smart said holyfield's ankle injury isn't a big deal and will be back on the field by end of the week.
