    3 " suspension lift, 10 ply BFG KO2s
    Hey folks!

So this summer I “bought” a new 2016 TRD Sport. I use the quotation because really, I picked up a sizeable loan on a pretty cool truck. I immediately and with no research whatsoever had a 3” inch suspension lift put on it, and added some gigantic, 10 ply BFGs and some moto metal wheels. I am now sort of “truck poor.” Also, I realized kind of quickly that the likelihood of me taking this thing out to do any serious off-roading is basically zero, as I would feel absolutely terrible about damaging it. I am too naïve/ignorant as far as off-roading goes to really do anything other than primitive roads with something so expensive/new.

I’m joining this forum because I’ve definitely gotten in a little over my head, meaning getting this lift and probably-too-large tires was a bit ambitious. Still, it looks pretty cool and I’ll post pics later and on that note, I don’t want to be one of those guys that has a bunch of impractical mods on his taco and never uses them for anything. I’m here seeking guidance, as far as what mods are meaningful and appropriate for a newbie. Also, I am having trouble selling my stock wheels and tires that I had removed at the dealer, so any advice for that whole thing would be helpful as well.

    Thanks!

    all tore up already
truck looks good! so what makes you feel like you are in over your head? oem wheels can be difficult to unload, so many for sale already. try to find any older tacoma or 1st gen tundra(i think?) your oem wheels will fit and look darn good! your setup better than me for wheeling, dont be afraid, thats a very capable offroad rig ya got there

see oem uca, they were able to get alignment good with 3" lift?

The alignment is alright. It seems to consistently wander to the right on the highway though. Thanks for your support and response btw. I plan on engaging a bit more on the forum this year.

Nice truck. Welcome. Just drive it, and do mods as you see fit.

Don't worry, your truck can handle it. My advice: go medium to slow and don't jump it. Welcome aboard!
