    ^^this
I've been out ~2 miles out in the boonies.
Seems hard to keep signal for more than 1 to 1.5 miles in areas with other wifi.
Areas congested with wifi can shorten that even more.

A small handful of select mods.
For a good porion of Moab you will not need a locker at all. You will be fine with a rear locker. More importantly is armor. Sliders, bumpers, and skid plates.

so much fun to have out there without any locker...so one locker can get you plenty far

as eric said...sliders and skids would take priority

I realize this isn't really related to RT '16 but I'm heading down to Moab late October/early November to hit up some trails. This will be my third year in a row so I'm no stranger to Moab but this time I'll be traveling with only my wife and no other rigs. Would I be totally crazy to do the Kokopelli trail and Flat Iron Mesa?

    ...too much shit to list.
Flat iron Mesa...hope you have big tires, lockers, and not afraid of off camber looking down a 1000 foot cliff. The last bit of the chute is downright difficult with 33s. And intimidator requires no fear of heights and a damn good spotter.
Or run all the bypasses and say you did it.

Good to know. Thanks for the info man. It sounds like this is a trail I better try when I'm not alone.

if you're looking for a trail down south, check out cameo cliffs...starts south off 191 & steens rd then wraps back north rt 46...there's a nice overlook above wilson arch near the end as well..no problems doing that solo

Doesn't even look too far south either. Thanks Bob! It's a little different when you're traveling solo I'm finding. I love the technical trails but I'm not trying to get stranded in the middle of nowhere.
