We're up to 6 CONFIRMED and maybe 6 "possibles".....I've watched several videos (You Tube) with groups of well over 30. We also have 1 of those confirmed that have done Dirt Devil at least 2 times.

One of these guys is going....https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0s7H3_Aj2Yk

Ahh okay. It just seemed like there we're going to be a lot of people, maybe because I've seen it in so many different places. A group of 30 would be miserable there.

We have a lot of "interested", but not interested enough to say they're going. A favorite old saying I adopted from my dad; "Until it's in the boat, it's just a fish story".

I'm looking for around 12 to a max of 14 based on early interest. These days' if you get 2 people on the same agenda, it's a success.....

Daria is counting 3 confirmed. I have 3 (plus myself) that I can depend on, plus 2 more I'd bet will go. Then 3 that really want to go if everything works out where they can. Then it gets sketchy....I have a long list of "I want to go"...You know how that can work out. .If we get too many, I'm going to suggest breaking into smaller groups at intervals to prevent the long line. If the Jeep guy who's been 2 times already is good with it, he'll be up front. My plan is to follow up in the rear of the line if at all possible. I'm old and slow. (or else lead a second group...)

Numbers are changing, up and down constantly.....But totals aren't exactly breaking records so far.

If possible, add me to interested list. Kids sports will be the only conflict.

Updated the attendees list, based upon responses in the thread. I tried to convince my brother to come down from Indiucky but its my niece's bday party. You guys still have plenty of time to make arrangements. :)

My list is changing and evolving. Still have 2 guys who aren't members on TW, but ARE active off roaders that are in. One of the disabled vets that was coming along is now scheduled for back surgery the week before, so, looks like he's out. After watching all the You Tube video's, my wife will make me go even if NO ONE else goes! She's very excited about this trip. A small group of Midwest Overlanders is scheduled to go on a trip we have planned for October 21/22/23 to Black Mountain. Several of them will let me know then if they're in for Dirt Devil. That will be a very diverse group if they go. Everything from Range Rovers to 4wd vans....

I'm still on the fence because I have no idea what my school schedule will look like next week, much less two months away. ;) They have basically told me that my schedule is theirs until I graduate in May. I probably won't have more than a week or two notice to let you know if I can go or not.

I guess that is to get you used to the rest of your career in that field.....Long hours of hard work and little time to relax.....

Maybe we should find new hobbies... :drevil:

Jk. I'm exhausted just thinking about October through December. I'm definitely hitting 100k next year at this rate.

I'm @ 99,460 now. Average over 400 a week. The 3 trips I'll be taking are wrapped around vacation days....I have about 30 days to use up before the end of the year.

Its not a trail meant for flexing or rock crawling. More of a cruise and chill.

I'll add ya to the list.

I'm ok with that, will be fun to meet some more members and chill. Close enough for a day trip for me.

Its a ten hour drive for me as I'll be in FL for a week prior. Luckily the drive home will only be just over five hours. Debating on airbnb in BFE Georgia along the way or near the trail or crashing with friends in Cookeville. Ten hours is a long haul.
