Right on! I'll be in touch soon. I'm super light right now in the rear and I'm sitting a touch higher. Thinking when it goes on I should most likely droop to level. My only concern would be with soft topper if I'll keep 90% of the wet weather out. Plus I'll have to pelican case stuff to keep dust and shit out.

Yeah, the mid-size VT weighs about 90lbs...so that should seem to do the job.

Can't help you with the dust situation...but you seem to have that covered well with the Pelican stuff.

It looks like it blocks the license plate with the tire attached on the Tacoma. Do you need to relocate the plate with a mount?

It will be out in a few weeks and MSRP will be $61.

It will support a RotoPax handle and 1 fuel can...it will also support a hi-lift jack if you add a bolt kit to it.

So far this unit has not budged, or moved in the least. Extremely sturdy, and noise free to boot. Once I get the license plate relocate kit and the Rotopax mount kit I will post some new pics.

What would you like to see? My only issue right now is I wish the available Rotopax Mount, and License Plate Relocate Kit were available at release. Operates flawlessly with little to no effort.

Thanks for the response. I was just wondering how your experience with it has gone.

Works as intended, snug and doesn't vibrate or make noise.

So how we looking on when the Rotopax mount will be completed so I can mount my Rotopax can that is sitting in my garage for months now? Also got the License Plate Relocate Kit in the other day and because I have the first model of the Hitchgate Solo there is no screw hole for it and it needs to be drilled I guess. What size is the bolt you sent with it? And my other question is where this bolts up is where I need to go in and torque the Hitchgate wedge that keeps it in it's place. Once the LPRK is installed it appears it will have to be removed every time I need to go in a torque the Hitchgate wedge correct? I have e mailed since last week with a couple of questions including today and have heard nothing back so I figured I would try here.

Should be a piece of cake. I'm going to be around all day tomorrow finishing up my wiring project. If you want to swing by we can probably get you all buttoned up in just a few minutes.
