wife agreed and thought this was great!

I need to find something for the same reason. Just a DIY-er but my drill bag ends up packed with random little things during odd jobs around the house.

We were told in basic NEVER do physical labor in our class A's. But we all had our days on the Drill Sargeants "hit list". One morning I must have done 600-700 push ups between PT and just because, all before breakfast:curls::benchpress::militarypress:.

So I hate that stupid bag.

Randomly, tried packing it all in a Dewalt hardware organizer case with all the bins pulled out. It fit perfectly, charger and all. In fact, the contours on either side of the handle area lock the batteries in. I know I took pics a while ago. I'll have to dig them up. Maybe I'll use the blue bag for bits etc.

    I guess the big one.

The Makita set is the 18v XT260, and the drill is the smaller one without the hammer drill, because I have a corded Dewalt 1/2 inch for that.

Batteries slide down into the corners perfectly and are captured by the bin contours. They don't budge.

The belt clip on the impact driver barely fits when the lid closes on the bin. It it puts a tiny amount of pressure on it.

Thats the small bag like the one I just bought , I have the big bag that currently houses all my cordless gear

That case looks to work well for your drill and driver set up

I'll have to take another look at the bag. The pouches had no obvious specific function except maybe for the batt pouches at the ends. Drawback of the DeWalt bin is no bit storage, really. I've been looking at various Husky bags too for various purposes. I think I'm not in love with my bucket boss anymore. When fully loaded, heavy, bulky, hard to walk with.

i used the 2 deeper end pouches for the batteries , and the 2 shallower end ones on the other end have my USB charger and little DeWalt bit case , the Lee Valley drill index is in the interior side pouch that has the clasp

I installed window films in the all windows in my house. It was a week’s work but I finished it finally. Window films can bring about an added privacy to the house. It can mimic any texture so that it will be difficult for the sunlight to come streaming in. It also helps in reducing solar heat and uv rays.It not only provides privacy but helps deters crimes as well by minimizing the risk of a break-in.Here is a blog from protection plus security solution that mentions some of the benefits of getting a window film http://protectionplus.ca/blog/5-benefits-security-window-film/ .
