A $10 can of plastidip on the TRD grill makes a world of difference! 78c61a7b9378255f82601424b111b3fd_f5a9292810de425fc045d298aca2fed883149cf2.jpg

So I swapped out my grille for one from custom car grilles and managed to lose one of the plastic clips. Does anyone know where to buy these and have a part number?

Here is the finished product though.

I decided to 86 the chrome bezel. Had some black sand pearl basecoat left over from my 09 and got busy today. I'll post some pics when I install it tomorrow.

After this thread, I think I'll probably end up going with the SR5 grill over the pro. I think it looks better as it doesn't stick out (why did they do that?), and it will probably cost less too.

If you look at pics of 2nd gen trd pro, the trd pro grill still sticks out. It just probably isn't as noticeable as the 3rd gen since the front end in general sticks out more.

I went for the BAMF grill instead. In my opinion it looks better than the pro and it's recessed.

Thanks. They should have color matched the bezel on the Sport editions, like they used to. If you want something done right you gotta do it yourself.

If you're asking about the new TRD Pro Grille, then the answer is: it snaps into the shell/surround.

No bolts, plastic tabs. DIY is on average 15 minutes to 30 if you're taking your time. YouTube has plenty of good vids on how to remove grille. Then you just snap TRD Pro Grille in and reinstall onto truck!
