    I bought 3 inch strut extensions and a 2 inch block in the back, it was a kit from rough country for $275 all in,
    Im super happy with it and I would recommend it if youre trying to fit bigger tires, its a cheap way to do so

    Thanks for that suggestion. I'll probably hold out for a more comprehensive solution that will offer better performance gains.

    Ok guys. I got the 275's put on today. I had them mount the 285's and bolt them on the front drivers side. It looked really good but not much difference in the clearance issue I had with the 33" toyos. I looked at it from all angles and was so close to pulling the trigger, but I just wanted a little more room and no rubbing. So they mounted up the 275's and it honestly doesn't look much different. the biggest difference for was the width between the Toyo and BFG. It rides a lot smoother, not as hard to turn, and doesn't seem to "float" at all anymore. I got home and had the wife drive it so I could watch. I like the look. It is not as "flashy" as the chrome wheels of course but I think I am liking the rugged look. It will grow on me. Let me snap the pics and get them posted.

    You have to do any cutting or just remove the front mud flaps?

    No cutting at all. The flaps were already removed but it looks like there would be almost enough space for them.

    Cool thanks for answering that question. I think I'm going to go with 275/70/17 in KO2

    Do you guys notice much loss of power with the 275-70-17?

    I keep reading about powerless as well is it really noticeable and also how is the ride with load range E tires? Is it as stiff as most say?

    Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
    Width is actually worse than height for rubbing.

    285 = 11.5" wide
    33 = 12.5" wide

    I will confirm the 285 Duratracs appear wider than 285 KO2's. I just made that switch.

    Duratracs get good reviews - except for sidewall protection against puncture/laceration.
    BF KO2's are regarded fairly highly.

    I put Discoverer ST MAXX on my Taco specifically for off-road purposes. Love them. Not very loud at speed. Get good feedback for sidewall strength. Spendy - but love them. (Not good for MPG's though, especially if doing 33" or larger)

    Dude. No.

    285 means 11.5" wide. But a 285/75R16 is a 32.8" tire. You don't know what you're talking about.

    just got mine put on as well. Wrapped in 275/70/17. The ride isn't so bad as people make it out to be and I am only going to have to cuts all amount off the inner front rear portion of the fender where I a, getting minor rubbing at full lock

    Going to have to trim this part

    Looks like I'm going with the 275's. Just wish more brands made that size.
