Any local interest in some Pelican cases? I'm heading to Arizona mid September to pick up some from @L3Goullon who has a source to buy them and for a very small fuel donation I can grab one or several for anyone interested :)

1650's 2975's are easiest to come by, I'm getting 4 1660's for the expo trailer. Prices too good to pass up, even after I figure the drive down to Phoenix.

I ordered the regular flatlink, then realized the extra functionality of the flatlink E, cancelled the original order and upgraded.

Flatlink will only allow you to put the pin through it, so whatever you are connecting to the d-ring must be able to fit over the large area of the d-ring. I got a winch extension line that I have to force onto the pin side of a d-ring, no way in hell I could slip it over the d-ring itself, so if I had the flatlink I would need to strap something else to the d-ring, then to the extension cable. So now I can use whatever side works for me. I didn't want to spend the extra money, but its well worth it.

I also like it vs a hook since it cinches up nice and tight with the fairlead and no need to connect the hook to my tow hook... or antenna o_O to keep it tensioned.
