Also, are you using a Droid or iPhone? It looks like there is a bunch of adapters required. Do they hide behind the radio or need to be in the cab?

Took the Tacoma in for its 10k mile service. Besides the oil, filter, lube, tire rotation, I had them do the tsb 007-16 and three blinks to five mod. And atf fluid levels were checked. Driving it home was very different, felt that it improved the shift points. It was actually fun to drive. Glad it was finally done...

Even in the summer I like to open the windows and turn the AC on full blast so I can pretend like it's a nice day in Phoenix. At least we'll be able to shut our ACs off for the season sometime in November. :fingerscrossed:

I sent you a PM. You don't need TechStream in order to activate your RS3200. It is already pre-programmed in your ECU. Installation is a real Plug & Play.

Put my OPT7s in for my low beams. Put my Body Armor 4x4 steps/bolt on sliders (really just steps) I love the way they came out and for the price you really can't beat the beastlyness of them! Definitely recommend them, instructions were not worth the effort the extra weight of the two pages took to ship them, (mount the brackets to the bars first and then mount the assembled steps to the truck). Painted the outer part of the engine cover (not an exact color match but I like it none the less) might redo it in the blue plastidip I saw a couple pages ago, just have to see if it will stand up to the heat. Also got my OPT7 32in LED bar in, impressive packing too, can't wait to get this mounted and on!

Since I have an Sr5, I've been debating about derping my rear bumper or not. I finally went for it and i'm actually very pleased! I had never worked with Plasti Dip before so I was very skeptical but since almost everyone on here has derped something on their truck I figured it was for a reason.

Tried to unbolt the chrome parts by taking off the tabs on the underside and a few other sneaky/tricky places I found but even with all of them off it still didn't come off. I was so close, some parts of the chrome were super loose but the piece just didn't come off. So, I had to tape and protect the car.

Right on the top left hand edge of the bumper I blew it somehow. Not sure what that "rough" patchy finish means but I'm guessing I over sprayed?
This was like my 2-3 coat so I let it dry and peeled off the whole thing. I WAS AMAZED how easy it came off with no residue left over. It's amazing to me how Plasti Dip works! I'm officially a fan!

Re sprayed that bumper and all came out perfect! IMG_8594.jpg

Super pleased with the results! hopefully it withstands the harsh San Diego elements :D No but seriously, I hope it doesn't chip and peel easily... time will tell!
