Andrew - I got a tentative call schedule today and I should be able to do a pre run on the weekends of Oct. 8th, 15th or 22nd. If any of those work for you then I'm in bro. And it also looks like I'm good for the weekend of the camp out so I'm in there too, unless things change again.

The Turkey Creek referred to in this thread is in Graham County. It's a very easy route going in from Thatcher and stock height trucks should have no problem making it through. Height with your teardrop shouldn't be much of a problem, as some of the other attendee's vehicles are much taller and make it through with rooftop tents, roof racks etc just fine.

I've been watching the summer storms via radar for Rug Road and there really hasn't been any heavy or prolonged rain up there. I think that a 4wd route prerun isn't necessary as of right now. The mid-oct trip I mentioned is partly to check on 2wd route and Turkey Creek campsite/road conditions (plus an impromptu trip to the ghosttown of Aravaipa). You should tag along for that!

I might be able to swing that since it will take you 45ish minutes to get to Houghton and I-10 which is where I'd plan on meeting up with you. So camp Friday, explore Saturday and go home? Or stay sat night too and home on Sunday?

I have an infant bro. Sleep schedule's fuct. I usually crash around 8-9, wake up in the middle of the night for a couple hours, then back to bed for a few more hours. Shit sucks man.
