New from San Diego

I have found a lot of answers to my questions this last year without ever creating an account but think it's time to join and maybe help answer a few instead of just taking all the time.

This is my 2nd Toyota, my first was a 1979 SR5 long bed that only lasted 325,000 miles.... So this one was my 65th birthday/retirement present. We use it too tow our teardrop camper and actually is our only vehicle now as we have downsized a lot.

Still tweaking it a bit and have to get some answers, mostly about sourcing parts.

Thanks to all.
As soon as we get back from our two week trip through the Eastern Sierra's I am going to be bugging everyone about what/how to stiffen up the rear end. I can't get enough of the load in front of the rear axle and the tear drop tongue weight drops the rear too much. A lot of angry headlight flashes aimed at me.

What is the size in pixels for an avatar? usually it is 300-400 x 300-400 but I did not have any luck trying to add one.

Anyway, gone for a few weeks up the 395.
