6 lug Fender liners

Has anyone "fitted" a 6 lug liner in a 5 lug after removing the boxes? 2nd Gen

 

I wouldn't be surprised if they did fit. I've been wanting to cut some rubber or vinly to fill the behind the shock to keep the engine bay cleaner.

 

Well I ordered a pair from Rockauto; we'll find out in a week.

I looked at a coworkers and they appear to be a solution for covering the gap created once the boxes are removed and stock liners are cut.

 

So you ordered the flappy thing buy the strut to protect the engine or the thin plastic lining for inside the fender well.

 

The definitive answer is Yes!

6 lug fender liners fit and cover the void left when you remove the black boxes.

Can you post a picture were the black box was . I want to get a pair but would like to see . There cheaper now. And is the plastic more thin then stock. Or about the same.
