    Vehicle:
    2011 Tacoma 4x4 2.7 5 speed SWB
All season mats, 2nd filter delete, DT header, Jardine cat-back, URD shifter, Bilstein 5100's all around at .85 front with Eibachs + .25 passenger/.5 drivers spacers and 1.5 AAL, 0w20 synthetic, Scanguage II, extra D rings, OEM backup camera+Mirror, bed mat, Extang Solid Fold, Popnlock 5300, Pro Comp 7089's 4.5bs 285/70/17 Revo 2s, De-badged
So I was under the truck yesterday and noticed the steering wrack boot was off the drivers side. tried putting it back on but when ever I turn all the way left or right it comes off again. But not the passenger side. When I got it aligned a few months back I kept the taco lean 1/4" spacer on the drivers side and the 5100s at .85 and eibach coils, and stock UCAs. All of this on the procomp rims with 4.5 backspace. He could get me 1.8 passenger caster but only 1.4 drivers. I think its because the extra lift from the spacer (or am I wrong here?)
Also I bought a set of stock rims and stock size tires used to put back on soon to trade in/sell the truck. But when I put them on and there is no back spacing with the stock rims it rubs the stock skid plate.
So are these two issues because of the low 1.4 caster? If so Im going to take the lean spacer out and get it re aligned to try and get both sides to 1.8 or higher, but I do not have much faith in the alignment guys around here. Most have no clue about lifted trucks and the only place that does charged me $100 + every time so that gets annoying.
Has anyone else ever had this issue? Any help is appreciated

There should be a hose clamp on it. Or you can use a couple zip ties to hold it in place

tried the zip ties and it ripped it right off

I'd remove the spring clamp on the outer end, push it back on the inner side, zip tie it tight and then put the outer spring clamp on again making sure that the outer end is pushed in as far as it will go.

Just took a look and now the passenger side is off too. Both were just zip tied which seems not good enough. Going to try using some clamps and see but the rubbing the stock skid plate is what bothering me te most

Can anyone take a quick picture on how it's suppose to be attached from the dealer? I think the shop might have taken it off and just zip tied it. I asked them to look at the steering wrack and they did so maybe that's what happened

Bought two stainless round straps and tightened both sides. Took it for a drive and they are fine with a bunch of full lock turns. Hope it stays that way

my truck started a new trick the other day, I started it & went to turn on the blower fan for a/c & it was dead, looked at the dash & all the idiot lights were lit. so I started checking fuse's & relays & after touching the fuse's behind the coin holder the fan went on & lights went off. It happened a few more times & I just have to push on the fuse box & it goes back to normal.
