Got an alignment. Turns out the alignment tabs on the LCA's are seized up, so that's pretty cool... At least the camber is still within proper spec. Guess it's time for long travel sooner than later!

I thought they looked a little like old cheap Monroe's before hand so that's why I painted them

washed it and took it to the dealer for an alignment. they couldn't get the caster numbers i wanted but did the best they could without sacrificing the rest of the alignment. i think 1.6 on the left and 1.2 on the rt. it drives great and nu rubing anywhere so seems good to me

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
Greased the u-joints; glad I did. Rear joint gave a little bubble gum pop as a teeny bit of air was expelled. Feels good now and thanks TW!

Put on my high clearance rear bumper, most of the clearance gain is from losing the hitch, but clearance is clearance...

Probably gained 6 inches at the back end, not sure about my new departure angle yet.

Did you paint the center caps or did you buy them? I have been looking for a set for a while.

Yup. I had cut out holes in the stock bumper and flush mounted the pods. My plan was to put some tapped holes into the tube bumper and mount the pods between the bars with the flanges on the outside, but it turned out they wouldn't fit that way. I didn't want to leave the wires hanging and the switch useless, so the zip ties will hold until I figure a way to either replace the pods with some kind of single row units that'll fit the space better or else fabricate some real brackets to hold those pods (or maybe just bedliner over the zip ties so they're not as visible...)

lol. I'm sure you could make a pretty simple mount, fairly easily. or, the short bars might be cool.. then re-purpose the pods.

Tricky part might end up being that the brackets would need to screw into the pipes from the front side, and I'm not sure I could get the drill in there without taking the bumper back off the truck. I also just zip-tied the 7-pin socket to the tubing next to the hitch since the mounting bracket for that which I got online also wouldn't fit on the bumper when it came time to try to mount it. Odds are, I'll ultimately just get lazy and spray some more liner over the ties; the textured black finish should hide the slight difference in the surface well enough and those ties are plenty strong to keep the pods in place.

Since the bumper didn't come with a license plate mount, I had to put a cut-down bracket for a trailer on with a couple hose clamps, but I did that between the primer and the epoxy paint that's then covered with bedliner, and the plate itself hides all that hardware anyway.
