Motherfucking pigeons. Stopped to get gas, got back in and looked over and saw this shit. Literally shit. One of those gas station overhangs where the flying rat bastards hang out. It couldn't have possibly hit in a worse spot. Right down inside the window channel, all over the inside door, in and on the speaker, on the dash, in and on the dash vent, splattered on the cloth seats and all the way to, and on, the console. WTF, indeed.

 

I can't think of a judge that could fault you for shooting a few...

I've cooled off enough to go finish dealing with it. Rubber gloves, bleach wipes, toothpicks, q tips, upholstery cleaner and whatever else I can think of.

 

I think just the normal centipedes I find in my basement might bother me more than spiders. But a giant centipede? I'd probably move out and leave everything behind.

I just spent 45 minutes wiping, poking, scraping and scrubbing poo from my truck. After 15 minutes or so of this mindless task I realized a two things:

1) thank God I wasn't driving my Camaro. I mean, love my Taco and all that but if the flying rat shat on my car I'd have been lobbing bottles of gasoline up there.


2) pigeons are just 1 notch above the mosquito in that they serve no useful purpose. Therefore they should all be eradicated. Immediately.

 

I'm on a Hawaiian forum and they talk about the giant centipedes they have over there. Phrases like "run you down", having to use "BBQ tongs" to pick them up and that they are "meaty" (in relation to trying to squash them).

 

Put a hook through it and use it for shark bait.

That's awful. A pigeon landed in my yard once, I wanted to nip that in the bud so I got my pellet gun and shot it. No more pigeons came.
