So billy from brute force sent me an update on my bumper. He's been awesome. He said 8 weeks till its done when we first began the process. It's only been 3 weeks and he sent me this:

Looks good. Apparently Insain Fab is having issues with the Relentless Fab DIY kit :(

What, really? If they're having trouble with it then something is wrong...IF is a well known fab shop. Maybe that's why relentless pulled their DIY kits.

Did they pull them? He said he was missing pieces and looks like under bracket is for the Tacoma. He called relentless and he figured out how to fab the parts to make them fit. Insain Fab is the premier Toyota Fab shop out here so he knows he shit and he also has a 3rd Gen Runner as a personal vehicle

Yeah, I saw in a thread that they pulled them. That's pretty shitty on their part. I'm glad I didn't have to deal with that and I'm sorry you had to! I'm sure and hope IF can straighten things out for you. Are you gonna have to chop the frame rails to fit the brackets?

Not sure. He said he talked with relentless and he figured out how to make it work. I trust his work so we will see how it turns out. I've heard of other people missing parts and relentless fixing the issue. I'm sure DIY kits are a pain to put together but their lead times on their standard bumpers are Insain.

Billy is a cool dude. Finished my tacoma bumper in 7 weeks instead of agreed upon 10.
They pulled their kits so they could decrease their lead times on other products I heard. Less projects to manage.
Weird. You should contact relentless. If a part is actually missing I am sure they will make it right.

I'm sure they would. They seem like a great company, but my truck is 2 hours way at the shop, he decided to go forward with some custom fabbed parts I'm cool with that. Not knocking Relentless at all, they seem pretty straight up.

Yeah I had a small issue with my IFS skid. They accidentally sent me the 4th gen model since it is extremely similar. It was easy to drill a single hole that was off since it was aluminum and I got it installed in about 20 min. I let them know just so it doesn't happen to someone else and they gave me 100 bucks off my rear bumper.

Nice that's pretty awesome of them to do. I'll let them know though.

had a weird feeling while driving today. Felt like my tire was flat and swaying left to right but on bumps it bounced more than usual.

I may or may not have had my coffee at that time.

Without hoops, and add bigger tires. This would look pretty sweet

Didn't know AP was making one.

I think without hoops looks kinda weird on the new 4runners. Other than pelfreybilt obviously. I like the middle hoop with some supports.

It's not the axle placement. It's the short links. It's called rear steer.

Just pulled the trigger on an OME suspension with Camburg Ball Joint UCA's from Wheelers and I'm looking for the best shop in San Diego to do the work as I don't have the skills to do it myself and wouldn't want to mess with the KDSS system.

I was quoted North of $500 from the Truck Shop in SD - does that seem reasonable? Other options?

I think you can reset KDSS after it is lifted.

No. There is no amount of adjustment you can do. By short...I mean WAAAAAAAAY short. The only way you'll get rid of the rear steer is by getting like 50" lower links and uppers to match the geometry.

Apparently the KDSS doesn't need to be reset/adjusted unless you mess something up during the install.

If you're bored, do some googling on 4 link geometry. Your head will either spin or you'll be an expert.
