Apple. So far I'm very happy with my whole system. It kicks ass.

Just a heads up if you flip your truck that seat belt will not hold your sub box. Seen it happen in one kids truck (Chevy S10) and the box slipped out and busted his head open. Didn't kill him but he did get a lot of stitches to the head from it.

Just finished fine tuning my new head unit install. Got a great deal from a friend on a brand new (never used) Pioneer SPH-DA120 Appradio. Finally got all the cables run to where I want them and got a good placement for my microphone. Very happy with this unit. Sound over the stock unit with stock speakers is night and day. Next on the list is installing my Amp and sub once I finish building a box. Below is a picture right after I got the unit installed and running.

Trying not to thread jack here, but I'm less than useless when it comes to electronics and this thread seems on point. With that in mind, does anyone have a suggestion for a decent quality double din touch screen unit that's $200 or less? Or should I not bother with a touch screen? Thanks guys!

Have a look at the wide variety of android based units. There are a ton now on the market ranging in price but you might be able to find one in your budget.

A friend of mine has one of these in his car. For the money he said it's a great unit once you fine tune it and figure out all the settings etc.

If you search Amazon just spend some time reading all the reviews to see how good/bad the unit is. In particular filter the reviews to see if anybody has good/bad things to say about the "touch screen".

    Best of luck.

I have a radio harness wired for a 2008. Would it work on the 09-11 models too? And it's different for the 12-15's right?

Harness should work fine. Only time it's an issue is when you have one truck with the JBL Audio system and the other does not. JBL audio system requires a different harness.

    Not sure about '12 - '15's ?

So I've gone through all 48 pages in this thread, good read. I am considering replacing the stock radio in my '07 with a
Pioneer AVH X4800BS and would just like to know if I just need to ground the parking brake wire to have video while moving still or has Pioneer changed anything over the years this thread was posted. I went to the forum posted below and it seems grounding the wire is all thats needed.

    Thanks

Got my kenwood slapped in last month and loving it. Only thing I don't like is having to plug in my lightning connector to have apple carplay on the head unit, but its not really that big of a deal. I love that my iPhone gps pops up on the screen. Siri actually is worth using even with texting and shit. She reads the messages to you and you can reply through the microphone that came w/ the head unit. Thought I wouldn't use that, but I actually love it. Great head unit for the price. Also upgraded my door speakers and tweeters to some infinity reference series and they sound pretty amazing. Love the looks of the Scosche dash kit too. (Don't get the metra, they are shit) Might consider an 8" sub later down the road if I find a good way to install it w/out sacrificing cargo space or having my dogs destroy them as they go crazy every time I slow down or stop. Here's a link for the head unit. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B015WKUMTG/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Ha, right on man. Best fucking podcast ever. If I wasn't currently jobless, (but somehow still ordering parts for my truck), I would prob be interested. Lol Actually just got my new SCS SR8 matte bronze wheels in today and now I have to order my 255/80r17 S/T Maxx's so I don't stare at them every day wishing I could put them on. :annoyed:
