    I could not be a nurse, that's just not my cup of tea! I have a full time job and a part time job on top of that while my wife is a full time student! My wife is a 20+ year nurse 8 of which she spent in cvicu! Her last couple years she was also taking care of transplant patients, mainly heart and lung. She is now in graduate school getting her masters degree to become a crna, she graduates in 2018!

    We jumped straight into patient assessment and.... how to wash your hands. Lol

    I'm an EMT so a lot of this first part is gonna be just a refresher for me which is really nice because I'm able to follow along really well and hopefully hone a couple of basic skills that maybe I didn't have the time to do in my EMT classes.

    Haven't went over nursing history yet. Not sure if we will honestly. This is supposed to be a new curriculum that's a little different than most nursing schools. They're testing it with our night class to see if they want to adopt it to the bigger daytime nursing classes later on.
