2017 Tacoma Price Check

Was negotiating for a 2016 when the dealer said he would do invoice on a new 2017 Tacoma since he doesn't have a 16. How does this deal sound?

Anyone doing any better? Would it be unreasonable or unrealistic to ask for them to include a bed cover?

 

I'm getting the same truck and paying a couple hundred more. I think you got a good deal. I hate car salesman, they acted like I stole the thing.

 

A good rule of thumb is 7% off MSRP.

 

What is DPH

 

Probably a delivery or destination charge.

 

Delivery, Processing, Handling? Looks right for the delivery fee at $950.

Our prices are pretty similar. I tried to get free floor mats and it didn't work out. Good luck getting a free bed cover. I think you are getting a good price.

 

If you are getting it at invoice, why would you push further to get a free bed cover? Looks like you are getting a pretty fair deal as it stands.

 

Definitely looks like a good price there. Is there anything you think you're missing? Mine has the Performance and Technology Package, adds a bit of features and price, but otherwise I think you're getting a good deal as long as you're happy with the truck as it is.

 

Been thinking about this and as far as I can tell, the only difference between the 16 and 17 models is that the 17 OR has a power rear window.

Is this in fact the only difference, is it worth the $1k increase in price over a 16?
