Rear right brake light not working

I will be will to bet it has nothing to do with the trailer harness b/c I know mine is out and I haven't even touched the trailer harness.

 

Now that is what I'm thinking is the issue but haven't checked yet

 

We need the OP to tell us a few things.......

Is it a regular bulb or something else?

Are you saying the socket terminals have 12v when the brakes are applied, the bulb is 'known good', yet doesn't light when in socket?

If so, and regular bulb, contact is not being made between the bulb and the socket base for some reason. Should be easy to validate with some jumper wires, just to see if the bulb will light.

 

The Internet has done all it can here. All that remains is the screwdriver, the 10mm socket, and the multimeter.

Haha I'm embarrassed, all I had to do was switch the bulb with a brand new one. I tried at first with 2 different used ones and apparently they were both broken. A brand new bulb fixed it! Lol

 

I'm still curious about the front brake lights and dome light.

 

Ok OP I figured out the issue. As we all should know there is not light bulb in the LED tail light, other than the reverse and turn signal bulbs. Pull out the center plug ensure each and every wire is properly fitting. I had one or two lose. I crimped some of the connections to the wires and checked the fittings on the main wire assembly at the bottom of the light. then cleaned out the LED area of dust. Simply just go through it all and check fitting of the wires, that's what it all comes too.
