155k currently. Just put a new alternator in it today. Wheel bearings. U joints. Valve cover gasket. Idler pulleys. Brakes.

Nothing major for the amount of abuse it takes. Mobil 1 everything.

Already posted this in another thread here, but I just traded in my '05 with 421365 on it for a '12.
(Dealer Swears they have never taken another truck with that many miles on it)
Engine was never opened, they had just done the frame recall work, and I added a Rack & Pinion and power steering pump to that, but a week later it needed a new front dif, and I decided that $2500 more was money better spent at that stage of the game on the '12 down payment.
But it was a magnificent truck, never stranded me, never let me down.
Best truck I have ever owned.
This was it's last trip to Hatteras back in the Spring.
New one will be on the beach in a few weeks.

Just for fun did you ever figure up how much gas, oil changes, and tires cost for that many miles?

Ha! No, I sure didn't, but that would be interesting to see.
I changed the oil every 5K (Castrol GTX & Fram), it was on its 3rd set of Michelins (after the original Dunlops), and I ran High Test in it the whole time so my ga$$$ would have come out a little higher than some.
Other than that there was the $$$ I spent on the leaf springs and shocks (when mine were shot Toyota was still not fixing it beyond the 36K warranty, even if you had bought an extended warranty - I might still go after them for that $$$) 2 batteries, a couple of wheel bearings, and precious little else besides regular, stuff to speak of.
If I get half the mileage out of this one, I am still way ahead of the game.
There was a '96 before that one that I sold with 206K on it and I still see it driving around town, 9 years after I sold it!

K&N air filter system, muffler change to straight through type (Too loud for my taste, will soon go back to stock style muffler). A/T style BF Goodrich tires.
Just bought my 1st Tacoma, a 2010 Double Cab - 4X4 with 152,000 miles on it. Looks and runs like new. I am a retired Denso (Toyota Company) employee and have a lot of faith in Toyota products.

No issues yet. Wondering if I'm on borrowed time and should bypass it.

Just turned 191,000 on my 06 DCLB. I've had to change the master cylinder and some wheel bearings but other than that I havent had any major issues.

06 w/250k, currently in the shop for rear axle bearings (original), not bad considering.

I go over the truck with an IR temp. gun once in a while, checking for hot spots. Last time, both brake drums were hotter than normal, which is around 120F. Left was 165F. Right was 140F. Brakes were ok, but the bearing is right behind the backing plate.

    Same as everybody else...
Not a Tacoma but my buddies Toyota Tercal has something like 265k on the original engine and transmission. I think the car is 19 years old and is still his DD. It gives me hope that my 09 Taco with 86k will run to 300k with proper maintenance.
