Can anyone tell me the difference between the 265/75/16 116T and 265/75/16 112T, besides $4 more each.
I know it is a speed rating, but is there a ply difference too?
Would think the higher rated tire would be more $.

:smash: Got it. Just noticed that it is a 265/70/16 112T

Yes. Its very, very good. But it's not OTD. :)

I paid extra for "Refund/Replacement" and for "Lifetime Balance, Rotation, Flat Repair" and then TPMS Rebuild Kids for all four tires and then State required "environmental fee" and taxes.

Take away all those fee's and I paid $142 per tire, with a $100 rebate, so $468 for all four tires with Mount and balance - No taxes, fee's or other services.

image.jpg Had these things off road again today and I'm still shocked how well they do. Climbing between 15% and 20% grade on deep loose-over in 2wd with zippy slip.

Have still yet to get them muddy, but I'll report back as soon as I do. I suspect that's where the free-lunch ends with these hoops.

All hoping there's enough rain in your area to get that mud test done.

Thanks for the video man. I have been on the fence with these tires, some of the pics I see they look nice and aggressive and some other pics they look pretty boring. I have tired to locate some locally so I can see them in person since everyone says they look much more aggressive in person but no one keeps them in stock. Your video really shows them off in a way pictures cant. These look like they will be my next tire.

That's exactly why I made the video. A picture might say a thousand words but a video says Millions. In the pictures they don't really look that aggressive. But in person they do. No Discount Tire in San Diego carries these. I had to have them special order it just for me. They have it on their discounttiredirect website though.

Got word yesterday that the wife's 4runner will be delivered to the house today. I went down to the tire shop to confirm that the tires came in. They are ready and waiting. Those are some damn good looking tires! Should have them put on today or tomorrow morning depending on the delivery time. If these, live up to all the hype, they definitely will go on my tacoma.

I went mountain biking last night - no serious off-roading, just a dirt road, but the dirt on the lugs helps show how rugged they look.

Well, I bit the bullet and went to a local tire shop today to price these. They are giving me $90 for each of my Goodyear Kevlars trade, so after the tax, install, lifetime replacement/road hazard (prorated of coarse), lifetime rotate and balance, I'll be out the door @ a cost of $360 bucks for a set of these in 265/70 16". The nearest discount tire was only going to give me $40 a tire, so when the manager told me $90 it was hard to hold my composer and not pee my pants to say the least. I don't think I could get that out of them on Craigslist. They will be here on Tuesday, but I can't get them installed until next Saturday morning. Hope they are as awesome as everyone says! Let the waiting begin!!!

Anyone who purchased through DTD -
Did you get the "Certificate for Refund or Replacement" with the tires?
    Just curious.

@Discount Tire Direct Any thoughts about purchasing that extra protection?
