    I started myself as well. Seems like pumpkin beers show up earlier every year. I got some Black-o-Lantern the last few days of July

    Sheesh. Around here the 'fall seasonal' beers just mean that it's August. I think the earliest I've seen Shipyard's Pumpkinhead on the shelves was the last weekend in July.

    Spicy. I think that's why it's my favorite pumpkin ale...considerably less sweet than a lot of other offerings.

    8.5 Fisher XV2, some switches, some lights.
    You might like the Shipyard Smashed Pumpkin, then. Not nearly as sweet as a lot of the stuff out there. Still sweet (it's a pumpkin beer, after all!), but not as bad as most of them.
    But, it's best at cellar temp. At fridge temp you miss a lot of the flavors. :notsure:
