    Sounds to me like you have a loose connection on the rear side.

    I'll agree with that, but when I try to take the fuse box off, the issue goes away & i can't re-create the problem. I turn it on & off a bunch of time, shake & jiggle all the wires but it won't do it till some time after a few rides.

    So I had a bit of an issue this morning, no idea what happened. Started the truck up, no codes, nothing wrong, putted along (waited maybe 30 seconds before taking off) to the highway...as soon as I got on the highway and shifted in to 3rd, truck went in to almost a limp mode right when I hit 3k RPMS and wouldn't accelerate, and then felt a big clunk and it would accelerate again. Shifted to 4th right after...did the same thing... Couldn't reproduce it again, but it scared the shit out of me lol. No lights on the dash and the ultragauge doesn't show and truck codes, so I'm not sure what happened. Only thing I can think of was it was still too cold and went in to a limp mode when I punched it to get on the highway? No idea.

    Nooooooooooo idea what it was. I sprayed down the engine bay yesterday, like..pretty good. but left it open with the sun on it for a good couple of hours to dry out, and then had to move the truck and it started right up with no codes and was fine

    That's my plan lol! I'm convinced it was just super cold and went in to limp mode for a second or something. No idea lol. I'll find out tomorrow morning when its freezing cold lol

    Yeah, 3rd and 4th were like limp mode and pedal to the medal it just kinda of puttered up to 3k rpms and then just sat there for a few seconds before the clunk and I got power back

    No clue, haven't been able to replicate it. In retrospect I think the tilt sensor was still buzzing or something. No real idea what was going on, it felt like a hard shift from an automatic suspension but it wasn't during a shift. It was in limp mode up to 3k RPMS, then held at 3K for a few seconds before the hard clunk and then it went over 3k at which point I shifted to GTFO of that gear before the truck could explode, and then it did it in 4th as well.

    Didn't happen the next day and I tried to do exactly what I did the day before.

    Transmission clunk? Were you able to look at the timing?

    Did the foam seal get eaten by the engine?

    No idea on the timing?

    No idea on the foam seal, but why would that limp mode/stick at 3k rpms and then clunk and be fine in 3rd and 4th gear only?

    Timing could have been viewed with your ultragauge. If timing was retarded a lot, you'd know for a fact that it was actually in a limp mode. Especially if throttle position was far less than throttle input.

    If the cel light didn't blink, or come on, it doesn't sound exactly like limp mode to me. It all depends on where the clunk came from.

    I wonder if some water managed to get into the intake somehow from when you hosed down the engine? The symptoms you describe happened exactly like that to my previous car, a manual trans Scion tC. I had a CAI on it and whenever it rained heavily, some moisture would occasionally get picked up by the intake and the car would do just what you describe your's doing when I'd shift and accelerate. Sudden loss of power, feeling like it wanted to stall/going into limp mode for a second, etc. When I removed the intake and went back to stock it never happened again, so I assume it was a bit of water getting in.

    That sounds about right actually! BUT I've got the URD Intake so there's not really anywhere for the water to pool, plus I ran it the day before and nothing happened, I'd think anything sitting in the CAI tubing would be sucked up right off the bat...I dunno man. Hopefully just a fluke and won't happen again
