Yeah, ARB quality is supposed to be the best, but I don't see paying at least 200 more for tire sensors.... I have been burned in the past by cheaper stuff (winch), but that's one heck of a hike just to have something that says ARB

Lets post some links to competitor products, find a guinea pig and then get review! This could be the chance to find the "ozark trail" version of TPMS sensor!

Some of their products are hand's down the best, Air Lockers, bumpers, etc. A lot of their other stuff is probably just average good but the reason I might buy from them is customer service and replacement parts down the road. Sometimes that might be worth the extra cost to know they're established with a good reputation and dealer network.

If anyone tries it, hopefully they will let us know... I'll just stick with the idiot light for now and let someone else be the tester.

I don't think they're available for purchase yet, but damn I want them. Especially because I'm selling my current wheels and tires and could easily include TPMS.

I wonder if the ones that ARB sells that go in the wheels (like OEM) can be linked to the truck to work with the factory system. THAT would be sweet.

How hard would it be to install a central tire inflation system? This would give you a real time way of monitoring such system.

If you mean just on board air, then not hard, if you mean like hummers have then really hard.

Not on board air but the military vehicle style system. Like inflate deflate without leaving the cab of the truck. I'm not familiar with hummers.

That's what I meant, the military H1 hummer, not the H2 or H3, they have a system like you're describing. So does the Mercedes 6x6
You can change the air pressure from the drivers seat

You are gonna have to run air through the hubs and have a coupling that can spin with the wheels, not sure how reliable that would be of you did it yourself... I don't know of an existing AM system for our trucks.

Yeah. Or some reason this reminded me of that. Wonder how hard it would be to install.

Honestly, real time tire pressure built into a inclinometer type screen would be cool. Add accurate compass and temp. I'm sold.

never had TPMS in any of my vehicles before. had a blow out on one of them. TPMS couldn't change the fact I was a poor college kid rolling on bald tires.

Seems to me 4 wheel disc brakes a better safety feature than TPMS.

Next the Govt will mandate GPS in the vehicle as a safety feature.

    _____

But I like the product OP posted.
