1st post in this forum! I did some researching and just ordered a full stealth kit with 3D bar for a two day old 3rd gen. Looking forward to installing this setup!
Thanks for making a full kit available. Curious what the included free harness switch is like or if it includes a switch at all?

    I am honored!!!!!

It comes with a push button, not one that matches your dash as it is a generic harness. If you look at the bottom of the page you will see Amazon stuff people have shared, the MicTuning switches are easily added to the harness and look much better. A few people say they are a little on the bright side. If you want to go top quality check out https://www.google.com/#q=on+board+air+toyota+switch.

There are many posts in this thread that will lead you on how to add this switch to the Cali Raised harness.

Thanks for the quick response! I've been looking at those switches on Amazon also. All my slots are filled in the center panel, but I have one free vertical plug on the left side of the steering column. It's not like the majority of the switch openings that are more square and stubby. It's next to the AC inverter switch on mine.

I was wondering if this switch is correct for that port.

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DWVNBIC/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER

It appears to be a factory part, but if there is a MicTuning switch that fits as a more economical choice, I'd go for that also.

Thanks for your quick input! I'm searching as much as I can during lunch hour. Just signed up to the site yesterday and there's so much info on these trucks!

Your doing great! Searching is key. A lot of people will tell you to search before asking things so it always helps to take a quick look. I always like to help where I can. It looks like you are on the right track!

To touch on the above comments; i have several Mictuning swithes and one Air OnBoard switch and i personally think the AOB switch is junk. I hate it. The led is a little cockeyed and the logo on the button is textured like somebody made it with a needle. Lol. Id go with the cheaper MicTuning version believe it or not

Great feedback! I have never heard about this before. I have a local friend who has them but I don't have a bunch of experience with them personally.

Thanks for the input guys! I'm gonna read through the thread first to see what's been done to the harnesses and see what combination of switch and harness works best. I'm a former auto-tech and car audio installer. I hope I have some stuff laying around that's useable.

Buy with confidence guys and gals! Ordered on Thursday got them on Saturday and installed today.

A couple take aways from the install:
    1) instructions are included - I did not read these and tightened the nuts on the crash bar BEFORE attaching the light bar to brackets. Don't do this. If I had read the directions first I would have known that lol.
    2) Have a 14mm deep socket. Don't trust your buddy saying he has one so you leave your tools at you place and drive 45 minutes to his place to drink beer, bs and install a light bar and find out he doesn't have one. Using a wrench sucks lol

Pretty easy install and the mounts are solid. Thanks for the quick turnaround.

3D is a spot beam and flood beam combo. It has standard reflectors like a car headlight. They are are great jack of all trades light. They fill in the space around the vehicle well and the spot beam goes out a good distance. The 4D is an optic spot, meaning lots of projector style lenses. This allows the light to go out very far in front of the vehicle. Some say there is enough light that they get some flood effect from it as well.

3D is best used for someone who does slower driving at night. It fills in the spaces around the truck so if your doing more technical type stuff you can see around you good.

4D is best used for someone who drives fast. It will shine down a dark road very far which is good for night driving down long single lane roads. Or for more of a higher speed desert application or fire roads.

Both are great lights and will be a big upgrade from your factory lights. Some people get stuck on this subject for a long time. But I have never had someone come back to me and say they need to change to the other because they didn't have enough light. They both work great and both will be a big change over stock!

Now you need a plate bracket to allow that license plate to sit below the light!

MojaveMadman, got these caliraised lights installed with your brackets. Amazing stuff. All wired up with the mictuning switch stuffed into one free switch panel slot. Going to make a Utah road trip soon with the new toy and light setup. Thanks again!

Darn colorado and their front plates, only reason I haven't gone for one of these yet. (Well that and the accountant doesn't like bill money going for truck parts)
