I live about 25 mins from there! I used to go to that beach all the time

 

Cary, Apex, Morrisville, Garner on the South side of Raleigh are good. I live in Garner, your welcome to come by and check out the neighborhood I live in, lots of houses for rent/sale. Easy access to downtown Raleigh.

Thanks! wherever we move, we'll likely rent for a year, so we can sell our current house and take our time finding the next one. you're neighborhood sounds like a good place to start. looking for a relatively short commute into the city, but far enough out that you can have a decent sized yard with enough room for a trailer, boat, and any other non garaged toys.

 

The proximity is my neighborhood but not the space. There are other neighborhoods nearby that do offer plenty of space though

 

Yeah..I live like 5 minutes from @Sandman614 and the lots here are good size. I have just under an acre.

Your going to want to leave in the garner area. Or just south of it. I live near @Sandman614 but a little further down the road in the "country". I have a 1.69 acres of land, but am about to move up closer to garner. Our address is benson, but closer to garner than benson, and 20-30 mins from downtown Raleigh. It all depends on how much you want to pay for morage around here. But you get a lot more for what you pay vs up north
