So long as i don't have to do emissions or display an inspection sticker on my vehicle anywhere ever, i'll consider it. Until then, its a crop of shit to boost revenue.

Bullshit. Missouri has annual inspections on every single vehicle over 5+ years yet they are the. Biggest piece of shits.

That's because it's too easy to get an inspection sticker without getting an actual inspection around here. It's ridiculous.

Still stands my point that the system doesn't work

Yup. Kind of like vehicle insurance. If you cause a wreck with no insurance, sucks for the other guy. But that's not going to change either.

That's why I said it "helps", not "prevents". For the most part, VA inspectors will actually fail you if you have a problem.

And I agree with that. But the logic that annual inspections truly do much is a load of bull

Yup, thanks to people not following the rules. What a surprise haha

I'm not any better though I guess. My bike has never had an inspection, and my truck hasn't had an inspection since 2012 thanks to loopholes. That being said I know both of them will get me from point A to B reliably.

Removed the Plasti-Derp on the wind screen and lower side fairings.

I would like to have my lower fairings be white but the Plasti-Derp is not a match and it is impossible to clean. I was also just tired of the windscreen being black so decided to take that off as well. I could actually prep and paint my fairings but since I might be selling the bike within a year or so, I'll probably just keep them stock.

Ordered new rear tire as I noticed that it's pretty worn. I have almost 4.5k miles on it but a lot of them were commuting miles to school where the center was getting real worn since I was going on highways and straight roads. I went with the Bridgestone's again since I've been happy with how they perform, even though 4-5k is their life.

Also need to clean/wax chain, reminder to self.

New rear tire. I guess there was some miscommunication when I ordered my tire from the shop and they installed a Bridgestone Battleax BT090 instead of the Bridgestone Hypersport S20 that I thought I ordered (and had on before this one). But I did some research in the parking lot after I got the bike back before I went in and complained. The BT090 seems to have even better reviews than the S20's so I'm not really going to worry about it.

Got 50+ miles on the new rear tire so finally started to push the lean.

Feels good, no real difference noted between the BT090's and my old S20's but we'll see as I scrub them in some more. Might run down to the closest twisties in the area to push them a bit more. Sucks they're 25+ minutes away though. Nothing real good within 20 minutes or more from the house. :(

    :spy:

I was thinking about heading down to Clifton for those ones off Henderson but lately I've just been going on that curvy section on Gloucester between Claiborne and Belmont Ridge over and over, trying to push the lean more and more each time. That little section is good but it's like less than a mile long, hah!
