    Workin' on it....
    @northwesttaco ....

    Mine isn't plumbed for outboard air yet (air lockers are a few years away) but I would think the air lines would just exit one of the plugs under the seat. Brian could probably comment better.

    Maaco...wait you said quality, never mind. I had a bumper on my last car painted by a guy in Kirkland, but he does very limited work now, and basically invitation only. He may have gone into full retirement though. I'll check and see, but IIRC his garage (part of his house) is somewhere behind the Honda dealer on 85th.

    honestly I want to spend like 200 bucks... its a canopy... I just want it to match and look good it does not have to be perfect maaco would be fine but I called one in portland and he wants 400 which to me I think is ridiculous.

    To cover the red with white will take at least 2 coats of paint, maybe 3. Without the second and possibly third layers, the white will look more like pink. Add a layer of clear on top, then the time to do all 3-4 layers, plus any masking.
    If you get it media blasted first to remove the red, then prime, paint, and clear, you are still looking at a similar price if not more.

    Not sure you will be able to get quality and price together.

    Bro, do NOT!!! Use Maaco! They are shit and do a half ass job. They do not properly prepare the surface for paint. They use a chemical etching process to get the primer to bond to the metal or fiberglass before painting. This is NOT the correct way to prep for primer and paint. I worked for a couple years at a auto body shop and I have painted aircraft.
    To do it properly, you have to mechanically sand the surface with a dual action sander, using anywhere from one to three different grits of sand paper to get the surface ready to primer. The paint process they use causes the paint to peal off at a later time and it usually never cures properly and it stays soft because they do not use enough hardener in teh paint. It usually takes three months for a new paint job to off gas, or cure. during this time do NOT apply any wax or sealer to the paint. If you do, it will not cure properly and it will ruin the paint job.
