In February of 2015 I took my truck in to the local dealership for the undercoating recall. They said the frame was fine at that time. Since then, my local independent mechanic has said the frame is aggressively rusting and will be dangerous soon. Will Toyota still replace the frame and should I find another dealership?

    Thanks for responding.

So you're on record with Toyota as having the service campaign frame inspection done and at the time they found it had "no significant perforations" or something similar? I'd think that if the rust has accelerated to the point another mechanic considers it potentially non-roadworthy then Toyota needs to do another inspection since it should fall under the extended frame corrosion warranty.

Yup.... I would take it in again and probably to another dealer just to see what they say.
My 2007 failed the frame inspection 5 months ago and Local dealer just got the frame in last week. I took it in monday and got it yesterday morning, they also put on my new Billstein 5100's ( for free). New frame, leaf springs, lower arms... and several other things that come on frame. everything works and rides great. can't wait to get it offroad now and test it out.
