thats a damn nice setup. My only question is does havin the tank there interfere with how big a spare you can fit?

I don't keep a spare underneath when I off road but my setup will definitely affect the size spare you can put underneath.

Can you fit the regular sized OR spare under there with the tank mounted?

Not on a Taco but my brother has 2 mounted under the bed on the side frame rails of his bagged S10 (V8 supercharged) with the tank on a custom mount under the bed with access going to the bed, oh and just a train horn mounted where the spare tire usually is.

yep,it's cocked a little because of the tank but seems pretty secure for over the road use.

I'm planning on mounting a tank inside the bed on the bedrails that way I can remove it. My goal for my Tacoma is a cross between overland build and make it useful for aviation maintenance work. I'll report back when I can get it done.

An unusually high amount of pinstriping.
You might start a build thread. This would be interesting to see.

I'm hopefully very close to the end of my build. I'll start a thread once it's done.

I know this is an old thread. How do you like this VIAIR setup and location of the pump? Looking into something very similar.

I will have to take a picture of mine tomorrow and add it here because you can fit a 1 gallon viair tank and a twin compressor in the area that the first picture shows just the compressor if you use the slee off road mounting bracket. It is a super tight fit, but it fits. Actually going to move the massive wire harness a bit so the fit is better. Pics to come

Hello... I have a CBI bumper coming with a 5th wheel relocation. So I will have some space down there to add if I need too. So I was thinking of an OBA of sorts. Do you guys have any recommendation on what type of OBA to put inside the tire well? I was thinking of the dual ARB Compressor, but I don't know if anyone out there makes a mount for it. I was also going to run a guage, and wires up to the driver bed side cubby and run the power to my little 6 switch power on/off switch.

Just have Bobby help you mount it, I'm sure the two of you can find a suitable location to mount the tank and compressor.

Come to think of it I wished I hadn't given away my airlift tank
