I'd like to stick with Duratracs but they don't make them in the size I want. Probably going to stick with my 17" wheels and throw on spacers. I'll verify torque before and after each run. Gonna go 255/80/17 Cooper ST Maxxxxxxxxxxxxxx. Gotta sell my current tires, front, and rear bumper first to help offset cost.

Also, I have stock rear springs for barter if anyone knows anyone looking to return their rig back to stock. I'll take a case of The Dudes Brewing Co. blood orange beer for those.

And a sway bar. Its a huge paper weight taking up space. If anyone wants it it's yours.

Word. I called total chaos to talk about spindle gussets and the conversation rolled into talking spacers. The guys over there all run spacers and basically said just buy a good American made spacer and check torque after runs or at least at oil change intervals.

I can't find any concrete data that supports the benefit or disadvantages to them. The data does however prove that wheels with "proper backspacing" to fit large tires are just as concerning as spacers in terms of wheel bearings, yadda yadda. Only difference is that spacers need to be checked for torque. So alas, wheels remain at the bottom of my add on list. Electrical work is next. Like next year. I need mo money! Haha

Word. Loctite makes things right. That 243 is great for trail repairs. No need to clean and treat. Just slap that gooey goodness on.

Finally got around to getting my new spark plugs put in, went with Denso Iridium plugs since the supercharger prefers a colder set.

holy crap it's like I actually have a supercharger now, I had no idea it was going to make that much of a difference. Prior to today whenever I gave it quick throttle, 3/4 of the time I'd get this horrible pinging coming from the motor and I had figured it was engine knock from not having the 7th injector kit. Apparently it was all spark knock. Floored it all the way home from the shop today and no knocking/pinging at all.

Not sure if this helps anyone here but I had to share, I'm excited :D

Doubt this is going to help with my gas mileage...

From experience I can attest to the fact that the biggest factor in getting bad mpg is a fun vehicle to drive. I've had 2 out of 14 or so vehicles that got over 20mpg and they were boring as hell to drive

Asked in OC but figured I'd ask here too. I'm about to order 5100's for my 3rd gen and would be very appreciative if there's anyone out here that can teach/show/install them for me :goingcrazy: or recommend me a shop that'll do it. I'll compensate in beer

I had Kings Wheel and Tire install my 5100 setup. They're in Glendale. $350 to install my 5100s, OME coils and 3 leaf AALs. Another $50 for an alignment. Best deal I could find for a shop in LA and I looked at quite a few. They did a great job too
