Yup DCLB, beast mode. but i do roll around with my RTT on the cab all the time. It's solid. I wouldn't question the prinsu's strength at all even on the AC's. Are you looking at a smaller RTT?

I wouldn't worry about putting the RTT on your Leer to be honest. I have a medium sized tent (Eezi Awn 1600) that is probably about 150lbs and we sleep 2 adults plus 1-2 small kids in it all the time. My Leer is the base model 100R with no reinforcements. I have taken the setup down high speed dirt trails and have crawled through the rocks in moab. Had it setup like that for over a year with no issues at all. Had it on my unreinforced snugtop before that.

That being said the accesscab rack is plenty strong. It could potentially be stronger than the double cab version because it has 6 bolts per side vs the 5 factory holes on the double cab.

I've only recently been looking into RTT's, so I'm new to them. I'm used to tent camping on the ground but love the concept of rtt's. I'll prob go with CVT since I live in Oregon and they are in Bend. I was considering the Mt. Shasta since its a 2 person plus I love the stargazing windows feature. Definitely going w/ the Prisnu for sure. Just want to make sure it fits on my AC's roof. Which model CVT do you have?

Sorry man I didnt read that as thoroughly as i should have. i'm in the same boat but dont have a RTT yet. The concept should be about the same, I would only worry about the strength of the rivnuts. I've heard theyre pretty damn strong tho

Thats good to know for sure. I have the 100xl Leer so I'm assuming if I put a Prisnu rack on both the cab and Leer shell, I could utilize either for the RTT as long as I'm not needing to carry any toys on the shell. Its just my wife and I in the tent with two small pugs so I'm thinking I don't have to worry too much about the weight. Thanks for the info!

@SixthSnail had the prinsu on his AC and a CVT Mt. Cayley on top of his roof. I don't know about that model but it looks like a standard 2 person w/ annex. His is the only one I've seen yet. AC owners need to step up their game I think. lol

I have the 100R as well....this is what I needed to know. If it is good enough for the man that makes them....then it is good enough for me.

I recently put on my prinsu rack on and noticed that the truck seems to drive better on the highway. Has anyone else noticed this? That is totally worth the price for me. I hated driving my Tacoma long distances now it doesn't get as squirly when the wind starts to gust. Now to buy some roof accessories. Great rack Zach!

42" light bar fit in the 40" fairing?

Please no rude comments. I thought I saw previously someone posted that they had done this.

I doubt the additional surface area of two inches of height would counteract anything the aerodynamics of the truck already do...However, it does make it at least "look" more aerodynamic.

Yep, bars that are marked as 42" or 43" are just the overall length with mounts. You'll will just either have to put the bar BEHIND the fairing instead of IN it. or.. modify the fairing slightly so it does. That's what I did with my 42" bar.

Hmmm lemme think about that. $475 Prinsu vs. $2000 trailer and $475 sliders. Sounds fair, lets do it!
