They should give those trucks to us since no one is going to buy them up there!

Only the Sport, from what I understand. Probably a production line thing.

    we get it, its there.
where it has the option as standard package or TRD pro. thats the off road

Which means, I know what I am getting now. TRD Off road.
as much as I want the sun roof and blind spot monitor off road it is. Better option in the long run.

I agree with Joe, we have it up here. Check out the pdf brochure, it also confirms what Joe said.

I was thinking about the Pro early in the year as I thought it was the only DC off road option. Thank god it's not. The Pro was almost 13k more then the off road. The Off Road will save me from buying a Colorado, plus no rush. Dealer up here wanted me to put $2k non refundable deposit down to get in line for the Pro. Glad I stuck to my guns and said without knowing the price the answer was no!

I do wish they would have added an off road long box option.

    agreed.
I wanted the pro since last year. But with that steep price tag no way.

I didn't even think we'd get it so i was set on the TRD sport since I didn't think we'd get the DCOR either but we did. There are few options (sunroof and blind spot monitor) that we cant get on the OR but oh well. Its about $700 cheaper lol, and in the long run probably the better truck since I do a lot of camping and kayaking.

Both are short bed so no difference there, but MTS and the locker will come in handy. Although I was always thinking ARB locker since I already have the compressor and just prefer the way they work. Either way OR it is. Probably going to go talk to the dealer today see how long the build period is and how long I have to place an order since I don't want it until January when the money will be right.

I've seen more limited than anything else so far here in the city.

    Joe,

Do you think toyota will be selling them cheaper in January? I'm not in a hurry for mine either, I'm gonna do some homework and check prices now, but may wait till the spring.

I would't be surprised, car sales tend to be pretty quiet in the dead of winter. I bought my TRD off road at the end of January and got a fair deal.

Does anyone one have a hard delivery date from their dealer? Talked to mine this week and he said he can only see 3 coming to Canada in September (St.Johns , Regina, and someplace in the Yukon...). Said BC probably won't see any till November/December (October build dates) Which then we know won't be cement due to the 2 month on/2month off thing.

If you're looking for a TRD Pro I know Mayfield Toyota in Edmonton is receiving one on the 15th of next month, cement color, and the original buyer [me!] backed out once the pricing was released.

Not sure. After all this came out I went straight to the dealer just got back about an hour ago from Scaroborough Toyota here in toronto, the manager I talked to there said the 2017s should be arriving by mid november. I asked about pricing that is posted on toyota.ca and whether I should expect to pay that etc and he said around that, maybe a little more since when Toyota canada releases these prices its for all of canada and certain provinces (the delightful shit hole of ontario) with terrible premiers (ahem worthless tax crazy bitch kathleen wynne) may pay higher taxes and fees on new vehicles. So with that in mind I wouldn't doubt they might be a bit more here. The liberals have destroyed this province.

But since negotiating a price can be easier when sales are low buying in January will likely be a bit easier since not as many will be buying.
I was told putting in an order around mid to end of november to expect delivery around january february. What I am not sure of is how the prices is worked out. Do I negotiate then when picking up or when I place my order.
Scarborough Toyota here in toronto told me come in around beginning or mid november to test drive the new ones as they should have some in (I was specific about TRD OR double cab

If you were still buying it I'd suggest you check out a mental health clinic. Its sad even the manager I talked to today at scarborough said the price is ridiculous. At that point you may as well get a tundra or any other full sized

The dealer in Williams Lake,BC said the TRD Pro I ordered with auto will be in around Sept 6,he also gave the final price taxes not included of $55,000,has me thinking to go with a double cab.Has any one confirmed the Off Road for a double cab will be available up here yet?
