You might want to consider adding a Poll to this thread to help keep track of interest for who wants fronts, short bed rears, long bed rears, and who wants a full set for either short bed or long bed.

Thanks OP for setting this up. Interested in the full set, only if the bedsides can be made for a longbed and fit a camper shell.

Same here. Like to get some in January next year. I know this is a preliminary thing but if they get made and look good I think they will sell.

    Quick updates for everyone :

    1. FML just discovered that I have a blown head gasket so this process is going to get delayed by a couple of weeks probably...super common issue on 05-07 4.0's. If you ever have mysterious coolant overflow without over heating and see bubbles in your coolant resi = blown head gasket. Get it checked out ASAP, the sooner you catch it the less your head will be warped which lowers the repair bill and time quite a bit.

    2. I am focusing on the cut out fender flares as the first product for a few reasons. First, cheaper start up cost and product cost. Next, the flares will work for everyone with or without snorkels etc and a flare will retain the OE bedsides = works with a camper shell. The only remaining variable is to find someone with a long bed and short bed locally that wants their shit cut up to clear 35's. My truck can't be used for mock up because I don't have OE front or rear bumpers. The flares need to be designed off of OE bumpers so that they are full length and will work on anyone's truck with OE bumpers...then those of us with aftermarket high clearance bumpers simply cut the flare to fit just like we cut our OE flares.

Want a tester you got it but I'm up in LA. I was contemplating trimming my stock fenders and bedsides like baby taco for 35's. What will the flares mount onto? The stock mounting holes? It seemed like that would possibly still make stuffing a tire a little difficult no?

Sorry to hear about your engine. My old civic did the same thing. Hopefully the head's not fubar'd. Any chance you'll be fixing that yourself?

273 dayum ! I'm only 140k, the shop that is doing the work said they see it around 200k usually and have done gaskets at 250k + with no major issues. It's all about seeing the symptoms and catching it before it overheats badly and causes the head to warp.

I'm in San Diego with a Short Bed. I'd be willing to talk to you and look at some sketches then see about being used for mock up

@McNeilRacingInc this is the thread that was started for a potential group buy on a 2+ fender. I know you guys already have a front but we are looking for a rear option now that fits all the points stated in the first post. Anthing that you could do to help? Thanks!
