If any of you are interested. I've got a copy of the Dirt Devil map, and I'm thinking about taking a tour on or about Aug 27th if anyone is interested in going with me I'd welcome the company.

Yes, I was thinking about the time and place to meet. How does 9AM sound for a meet time? As for the place to meet IDK. The trail starts near unincorporated Fly, TN. The trial start location is an address that is just a place on the road. No parking lot or anything identifiable on google maps. Is anyone familiar with the area, that can suggest a convenient location? I think Dave41079 has run this before, got a suggestion?

Just found out my wife has to work 11-3 in Brentwood today and needs our only vehicle. I hope there's a next time that I'll be able to join yall. Her and I are however going to Turkey Bay today to play around. Sure would be alot more fun with a group though.

Meeting at Puckett's Grocery in Leiper's Fork is usually the best spot. I may or may not show up, as I've come down with some kind of awesome head cold. We'll see how I feel in the morning. I personally believe it is more interesting to do the trail backwards, as more of the exciting stuff is on the northern end.

I was going to recomend Pucketts for a meeting place as well. So are we meeting there at 9am tomorrow?

Okay, so all those that can. Let's meet at Puckett's in Leipers Fork at 09:00. That's right about an hour drive for me to get there.

Hope your head clears up Dave, be great to have a knowledgeable guide along!

Sorry you could come today. I believe there will be a group coming down from Kentucky the weekend after Labor day. If I can I'm going to attend.

It was pretty good. I only made a few missed/wrong turns, nothing catastrophic I didn't get fixed quickly. After we got through the west side, we went back through the northern area and re-did the creek crossings from the other direction. We got back to Puckett's a little after 3pm. From Puckett's, back to Puckett's, we drove 135 miles in 6 hours. I figure we covered about 105 miles of the Dirt Devil. Thanks again for leading the first half. It made the day a lot easier on me!

Glad you guys had a good time. Now you see what I mean about the northern section being better, and why I prefer to "go backwards" on it instead.
