The fuck. Been running 5100's with ome 887 and wheeler aal's for months. Rides great, bolted on perfectly and alignment within specs. Is it ideal, maybe not. Does it work, yes.

You stated you should stay away from 2nd gen bilsteins if you care about ride quality, "for fucks sake". I'm going to go bang my wife, this thread is retarded.

He also stated they wouldn't mount correctly, which I told him he was wrong and then went on a bipolar rant. He could probably use a break from our community as he dosent really contribute besides to arguments and name calling. Where's @JimBeam when you need him. If you look every thread he comments on goes sideways.

    Meh. Technically he's right, but...

Weight differences for the same shock application.
    2015 Tacoma 4,900 GVWR-low
    2015 4Runner 6,300 GVWR-high

How does Bilstein or OP square it?
    Splitting hairs IMO.

He was right that they aren't "recommended" but he was wrong in they won't mount and cause damage. He's been editing his posts/threads so not sure what is in there now.

First and foremost...the bickering is ridiculous and needs to stop

2nd...of course Bilstein is gonna recommend not, 1 for liability reasons and 2 so they can sell more of the new ones

3rd...many many many many things have been repurposed and used on trucks over the years even if they weren't designed for it or fit just right...against "expert" recommendations....no Suzuki employee ever would say yes use a Toyota axle underneath your Samurai...but hey...that happens all the fucking time and it works great

4th...i think this thread has run it's course
