Sounds like he is wanting someone to offer him more. I would start looking for another set. There are alot of 2016 sets for sale.

    None....yet
Does anyone have issues with the paint? I can never get all the dirt and stuff off the paint. I have a paint warranty and Toyota is constantly "clay-barring" it to get it clean. The paint manager informed me that the Super white paint on the Tacoma is not clear coated. Is this true? I have asked multiple sales and maintenance people and they have confirmed that our super white trucks are not clear coated.

Correct paint and clear are mixed. 1 stage paint. I clay once maybe twice a year and use meguiar's ultimate liquid twice a year. Dirt falls off.

Non at least the pre 16's I know are only single stage one of the reasons I love the color. I haven't had any problems I wash with a car wash soap, dry, spray down post wash with a quick detail spray, if there's any issue I use mothers cleaner wax hope that helps

Yea I was about to buy some. But now I'm saving for a good welding machine so I'm gonna wait and make my own. I have years of welding and fabrication experience prior to joining the military, I just don't currently have machine, which sucks. Gonna get a good machine, plasma cutter, pipe bender. Do all my armor myself.

I'm planning on clear coating my truck on my own. First I'm gonna touch up all the chips and dings. Then I'm going to get a bunch of cans of clear coat from Automotive Touchup...and a buffer, because I'm not hand buffing my whole truck. Buffing the clear coat on my rear bumper by hand took about 2 hours.

You gotta be careful with a buffer if your not used to using its easy to burn through your paint on the edges. If your determined to clear it I'd recommend taking it to a good body shop and pay the price sorry your having all these problems

I'll keep that in mind. I've used their clear coat before. As long as you don't put to much pressure and take your time it should be fine. Their clear coat doesn't require to much buffing. Their finishing polish does most of the work.

I was lucky enough to buy my taco with the same wheels off of a 2016. Just as an FYI, here's what they look like when plastic-dipped in 4 coats of black and 2 coats of glossifier (total $17 at Wal-Mart). The slight chrome you see is from the airgun yesterday when I rotated the tires.

I offer this because it completely changed the look of my taco!
