2013 WRX STi, hatchback, then set it up with a 500hp kit. No I wouldn't lower it, it's a rally car ffs, it would of course have to be setup as such. Then of course there would be the tickets and subsequent arrest for excessive speed....let's not go there and say we did.

The first "less than full sized" pickup I looked at was a Cheby Colorado. I sat in one. Then I got out, and left the dealership. That was the most uncomfortable, boring thing I've ever sat in. And I used to do flight training in Cessna 150's.

What about a Mercedes Metris Van... A really nice useful vehicle but not much cool factor.

I would be between a new power wagon or f350 PSD. PW for the offroad hardware of course, and PSD for the drivetrain, electronic locker and hydro boosted brakes. Both are way more truck than I need though, and would limit some of the places I could go in the woods.

You have to go in knowing the prices and be willing to shop around. Don't show emotional investment in a vehicle. Be ready to Get up and leave when they stop moving on price. I've had dealers follow me out to the parking lot and chase me down "ok ok we talked to the the GM and they'll do your number!" It's hilarious. Helps when your family is in the car business too I suppose.

Thanks. We bought my girlfriends car in 2015 at $250 over invoice. Her car was a 2014, brand new. I think where they tryed to make up some money is they where pushing us hard to buy the extended warranty etc. We did not have the greatest credit at the time so our interest rate for the loan was 13%. They called us back a week later and said if we but the ext. Warranty for $800 they would lower out rate to 3%

Yeah all that stuff they push in F&I is mostly profit for them. Best to decline it all. You can always purchase extended warranty later down the road. It's not mandatory to purchase at time of financing the vehicle

, yep, 4runner though we love it and has a cult following, is far from competitive in the mid size SUV market and like many toyota products is a bit lacking on feature content compared to a ford explorer, etc. so easier to negotiate pricing as its not a hot commodity. Though I would buy one in a heart beat as many here would.

You can get an Sr5 crewmax tundra right now for less than a OR DC tacoma right now, more aggressively discounted, at least in my area.

I'm not crazy about the Tundra I sat in a pro. It wasn't doing anything for me. I'd prefer a Silverado. The Tundra feels dated.

It is, as with a lot of Toyota products. I had a 14 Silverado nothing I didn't like about it, got better gas mileage than my Tacoma, quiet as hell, comfortable, lots of features and cost the same as my 16 Tacoma and it was a double cab Z71 with allstar package, LT1 trim. Just didn't fit me and my lifestyle, I'm a Tacoma guy, well until the diff in this one shits and Toyota tries to have me foot the bill.
